S Series Helical-Worm Reduction Gearbox

1. Product Characteristics:
S series helical worm gearbox adopts the helical worm gears to make its structure more reasonable. S series not only has higher transmission efficency and loading capability than those single-stage worm wheel transmission, but also smaller volume and appearance. Moreover, S series worm gearbox has higher transmission ratio, and can be combined with various gearboxes and speed variators to meet the different requirements.

S series gearbox are available in the following designs:

1. Notice of installation

1.1 Thebase-plate must be plane and stoutness, and the base-plate must be screwed downand shockproof.
1.2 Theconnecting shaft of prime mover, reducer and operation device must be coaxialinstallation.
1.3 Thediameter tolerance zone of input and output shaft is H6, the holes of fittings(such as couplings, belt-pulley, sprocket wheel and so on) must properly matethe shaft, which prevents bearing from breakage because of over-loose mate.

1.4 Driverssuch as sprocket wheel and gear must be fitted close to bearings in order toreduce bending stress of hanging shaft. 1.5 Whiteassembling motor of WPD reducer, it is necessary that proper amount of butterapplies to the worm shaft input hole and keyway, avoiding assembling tootightly and rusting after using for a long time. 1.6 WhenOrdering or using all kinds of WPD type, if the motor weight is binger than thecommon, supporting set is required.

2. Notices of usage

2.1 Before using, please check carefully whether the reducer model, distance, ratio, input connecting method, output shaft structure, input and output shaftdirection and revolving direction accord with requirement.

2.2 According to the requirement of selecting lubricant oil in the productmanual, please fill proper category and brand lubricant. And then screw on thevent-plug; Unlock the small cone-plug of vent-plug. Only after doing these, reducer is already for starting up running. The proper brand and adequatelubricant oil is required, replacing oil in time conforming to the request ofproduct manual is also necessary, especially after using first 100 hours, it isrequired refilling new oil.

2.3 Whenabnormal circumstances occur, please stop and check reducer per solutions andreasons for faults of reducer (allowable highest oil temperature is 95, under this temperature limit, ifoil temperature no more goes up, please let reducer continue running)

WP SERIES WORM GEAR SPEED REDUCER

WP series reducer, worm is made of 45 # high quality steel by heat treatment, and worm wheel is cast with tin bronze. It has good wear resistance, especially in bearing capacity. It is mainly suitable for deceleration transmission of various mechanical equipment such as plastics, metallurgy, beverage, mine, lifting and transportation, chemical construction and so on.

WP SERIES WORM GEAR SPEED REDUCER FEATURES:

1.Drive smoothly, vibration, impact and noise are small, deceleration ratio is large, versatility is wide, and can be used with a variety of mechanical equipment.

2.Large transmission ratio can be obtained by single-stage transmission, and the structure is compact. Most types of reducers have better self-loc ept performance. Bra ept devices can be saved for mechanical equipment with bra ept requirements.

3.The meshing friction loss between worm tooth and worm gear tooth surface is larger, so the transmission efficiency is lower than that of gear, easy to heat and high temperature.

4.Higher requirements for lubrication and cooling.

5.Good compatibility, worm gear and worm are manufactured according to national standards, bearing, oil seal and other standard parts are used.

Notice of installation  

1. The base-plate must be plane and stoutness, and the base-plate must be screwed down and shockproof

2. The connecting shaft of prime mover, gearbox and operation device must be coaxial installatios

3. The diameter tolerance zone of input and output shaft is H6, the holes of fittings(such as couplings, belt-pulley, sprocket wheel and so on) must properly mate the shaft, which prevents bearing from breakage because of over-loose mate

4. Drivers such as sprocket wheel and gear must be fitted close to bearings in order to reduce bending stress of hanging shaft

5. White assembling motor of WPD reducer, it is necessary that proper amount of butter applies to the worm shaft input hole and keyway, avoiding assembling too tightly and rusting after using for a long time

6. When ordering or using all kinds of WPD type, if the motor weight is bigger than the common, supporting set is required

Notice of usage

1. Before using, please check carefully whether the gearbox model, distance, ratio, input connecting method, output shaft structure, input and output shaft direction and revolving direction accord with requirement

2.  According to the requirement of selecting lubricant oil in the product manual, please fill proper category and brand lubricant. And then screw on the vent-plug; Unlock the small cone-plug of vent-plug. Only after doing these, reducer is already for starting up running. The proper brand and adequate lubricant oil is required, replacing oil in time conforming to the request of product manual is also necessary, especially after using first 100 hours, it is required refilling new oil

3.  When abnormal circumstances occur, please stop and check reducer per solutions and reasons for faults of reducer (allowable highest oil temperature is 95, under this temperature limit, if oil temperature no more goes up, please let reducer continue running)
